Program Information

  • An immigration stream under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program 
  • An opportunity for foreign workers with a job offer in a skilled occupation at Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC), to apply to permanently live and work in Ontario

 

Program Advantages

    1. Online nomination application to Ontario government;
    2. Permanent Residence application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

Job offer requirements

  1. Full-time and permanent
  2. A skilled occupation at Skill Type 0 or Skill Levels A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC)
  3. Pay: meet or be higher than the median wage level, for that occupation, in the specific region of Ontario where you will be working
  4. Necessary to the employer’s business
  5. Work primarily in Ontario

Applicant requirements

  1. Work experience or license or other authorization
  2. Intention to live in Ontario
  3. Legal status in Canada (if applicable)

Employer requirements

  1. have been in active business for at least three years prior to application submission
  2. have business premises in Ontario
  3. have no outstanding orders made against them under the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 or the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  4. demonstrate that enough effort was made to recruit a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident prior to offering the position to you (this only applies if you are currently living outside Canada or working outside of Ontario)
  5. the most recently completed fiscal year (the year used for tax or accounting purposes):
    • a minimum of $1,000,000 in total gross annual revenue in the Greater Toronto Area (City of Toronto, Durham, Halton, York and Peel regions) or
    • a minimum of $500,000 in total gross annual revenue outside the Greater Toronto Area
  6. Full-time employee requirements:
    • at least five full-time employees who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents in the Greater Toronto Area (City of Toronto, Durham, Halton, York and Peel regions) or
    • at least three full-time employees who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents outside the Greater Toronto Area
  7. Employer Form
